| Gents I will be there... I should have a bunch of free tickets for the OC Flyers vs Yuma Scorpions minor league game at Cal State Fullerton on July 18. It is law enforcement appreciation night. If you show your ID you get in free. I will have tix to get your family in. There is a cop softball HR derby in between the double header games (approx 630 pm or so). Huge Easton Prize Package to the Winning Team PoliceSoftball.com, in conjunction with Brett Helmer, Easton Sports and Armando Acosta of the SoCal Softball Tournament Series will be hosting Policesoftball.com’s second annual “Bring ur Real Skilz” tournament. This tournament will be held on July 25/26, 2009 at Big League Dream’s newest facility in West Covina which offers 6 replica fields. PoliceSoftball.com feels the prize package is one of the best prize packages offered in the nation for police softball. 30 team cap (firm) with a 4 game guarantee. There will be 10 brackets with 3 teams in each bracket. You will get 2 round robin games for seeding purposes. Top 2 go to the A-flight and bottom 1 to the B-Flight. Both flights will have a DOUBLE ELIMINATION playoff. PROVIDED bats! Every field will have a 26/27/28 ounce high end Easton bat for use. Everyone must use only these bats. No juiced, altered or special bats allowed. It is truly a bring your real skills competition. Do well and there will be no excuses from the haters..you earned it! **FINAL WEST COAST QUALIFIER FOR THE 2009 WORLD SERIES*** On August 1st, PS.com will tabulate the points and the top 15 spots will earn World Series berths. This tournament will be the last tournament in the west to earn points which count towards the World Series top 15. ***EASTON PRIZE PACKAGE*** Huge prize package provided by Easton sports. In 2008 it was ONE DOZEN Brett Helmer edition bats with a retail value of over $4000.
